I'm quite new to drupal and for my first choice of theme, I picked Octavin theme. Can anyone help me on how can i make my site like that in the sample site?
hi there, i downloaded your st. octavin theme and i really like it, im using it in a website im doing for a school project, but im having touble getting the "slideshow"-view i put in the "preface top"- block to align properly with the grid, there is an off-set of about 5pixels on the left end of the block area, no matter the size of the images, i made the images the same width as the grid, 960px across, but the offset remains and also when i put a custom logo the grid expands and leaves some space under it on-top of the primary links, im attaching screen shots of the two situations,i drew some red lines and circles on the things im trying to rectify, please i would be much obliged if you would put me through this, im a newbie thanks!!!
Hi, I have been playing around with the St Octavin theme and I just cant get the views banner to align, as I always have a margin (a blank space of about 5/10px) on the left hand side.
I have used Firebug to compared my dev page 'http://shushey.com/devdir/' with the demo site 'http://demo.symphonythemes.com/index.php?theme=octavin' and the only difference seems to be that I dont know how to apply '#block-views-view_image_slideshow-block_1 img {margin-right: 0;} to the block.
In addition, I have followed the guide to the letter (I've been throught it enough times :-)) but still no joy.
Finally, I did notice that the guide was for St Alphorn and not St Octavin.
You can only put your slide on preface-top region. Our images also are 960px wide. If you can't fixout your problem you can send me your url and I'll check it for you.
And you need to add 4blocks at postscript-bottom region to display rounded corners.
I attached a document in our theme package, These step-by-step guides provide instructions on how to built a site with our theme. You should read it first and then let me konw if you have problem.
hello! are you referring to the SymphonyTheme_Document_v0.1.2 file? I read it and installed whatever is stated there but when I'm about to start with my site. I don't know what to do next? I can't even create a site like your sample webpage. Can you help me please? :( Lady begging.

Hi Femi
- For Slideshow: add #preface-top .block .inner { margin:0} at octavin-style.css file.
- For Logo: change width: auto for #secondary-menu at octavin-style.css file
Banner will not position correctly

Thank you but . . .
Hello,
The block is in the preface-top region.
Do you have other suggestions, as to what might be wrong? FYI, my images are 960px wide and 250px high.
In addition, what do I need to do so that my main page content displays rounded corners, just like the St Octavin demo site?
Thanks for your assistance. Steven
